We had difficulties monitoring a large squad of players’ compliance with session completion and accurate tracking of metrics that are important to allow us to build individual athlete profiles and provide feedback to the head coach/coaching team. Additionally, working with athletes who are located around the country or competing overseas can be problematic as needs can shift due to travel/illness etc.

With RYPT, we can now accurately prescribe individualised sessions using metrics such as percentage-based lifts or VBT. Across a large group, we can track workout compliance & performance which can be shared with the wider coaching team.

Using the scheduling and workload monitoring features allows us to integrate sport session RPE and other metrics to monitor athlete readiness and flag possible overtraining/injury. The app has also allowed me to prescribe and adjust sessions quickly based on athlete/coach feedback irrespective of where the athlete may be.

Personally, I really like the simplicity of uploading videos which allows me to individualise exercises for Rehab etc. My athletes have direct access to them for visual feedback as part of their sessions. I found this particularly beneficial for athletes that I have limited 1-to-1 contact with. Also, it’s extremely helpful with younger developing players/athletes.
